In Germany, people who are experiencing financial hardship are entitled to receive help. At the Jobcenter der Stadt Trier (‘Jobcentre of the city of Trier‘) or the Jobcenter des Landkreises Trier-Saarburg (‘Jobcentre of the District of Trier-Saarburg‘), you can obtain financial help and support from the job service. Anyone who is unable to work will be supported by the Finanzamt (‘tax office‘). If you live in the Landkreis Trier-Saarburg (‘District of Trier-Saarburg’), you can contact the Kreisverwaltung Trier-Saarburg (‘District Administration of Trier-Saarburg’).

Agentur für Arbeit (‘Federal Employment Agency‘)
The Agentur für Arbeit (‘Federal Employment Agency‘) will help you if you are looking for a job or a training placement. You will also be able to receive help with writing letters of application.
